Ho wdy Folks,
The Pepper Posse is back with some updates as big as Texas. First, we are excited to announce the opening of a Jalapeno Tree in Tyler, TX! ! It was a long wait, for all of us, but we are excited to finally be open.
So a little about Tyler. It is called the Rose City because they grows roses by the ton. You can smell them all around when they are in season. Roses are not the only flower Tyler embraces though. Every year they have an azalea trail through neighborhoods that you can drive through. It is a really neat experience.
Tyler also boasts a fantastic Junior College (Tyler Junior College) and a little bit of Austin with a University of Texas four year branch. Tyler might be on the smaller side but don't let it fool you ... this city has a lot to offer!!
When your done checking out all the great stuff in Tyler, be sure to stop by Jalapeno Tree, on the loop by the mall , for the best Tex-Mex and margaritas in town.
Lastly we updated our photo page !! Lot's of new photos of our restaurants. Feel free to explore the site. Check all of our locations out and even drop us a comment . We love hearing from honorary members of the Posse.

Hello,
The Jalapeno Tree has purchased Papacitas Mexican Restaurant in Gun Barrel City from Robert Hampton. Ownership is effective as of today. We will be closing the location for 3-6 weeks and then re-open as Jalapeno Tree. We will be training all the employees and managers that want to work with Jalapeno Tree at our Athens location.
Robert still owns the Papacitas in Longview and we have no connection with that restaurant other than the fact Robert, Mark and myself are great friends.

We are excited to let everyone know that The Jalapeno Tree is now open in Sherman, TX. Check out the location and map here!! We are in the process of taking some pictures and hope to have those up on the site really soon. Go ahead and make your way to Sherman, TX for some of the best Tex-Mex around ... The Jalapeno Tree.

Howdy,
We want to give out a very special thanks to city of Kilgore. They have voted us "Best of the Best" Mexican food three years running. This makes us feel so good we're going to celebrate playing our instruments and testing new margarita recipes.
The Jalapeno Tree strives to provide the best food, service and atmosphere possible and this helps us know we are onto something.

Hey Ya'll,
Athens!!! What a great city, there are so many things to do in this great place. The Pepper Posse took a tour through Athens last year and immediately knew this was a place for the Jalapeno Tree. No stranger to food, Athens is Home of the Hamburger and helped define the black-eyed pea. Musicians ourselves we enjoyed the Old Fiddlers Contest and Reunion!!
The Pepper Posse would like to extend our thanks and gratitude out to Athens. They recently voted us Best Mexican Food Restaurant!! We truly appreciate your warm welcoming and amazing support. Feel free to drop us a comment and let us know how we are doing or just to say hi.

Hola Hola Hola,
Sherman, TX ... Sitting just north of Dallas, TX but not overlooked by The Jalapeno Tree. We are excited to be in a city boasting the oldest college in the state and there very own Symphony Orchestra!! You can see where the new Jalapeno Tree is going to be located ... click here !!!
So.. put us in the textbook and fire up the music... The Jalapeno Tree is coming and will be here to stay.
